Some goats, but no big farms close, they are mostly at higher elevation to keep the cows happier. It rained 25 inches over 3 days. It was like a hurricane downpour for hours. To give a number that is even scarier than I thought I did this calculation for our yard which is one acre:<br /> (43 560 (sq ft)) * 25 in = 678 857.14 US gallons<br /> That&#8217;s right, over 3 days 678 thousand gallons of water fell on my yard. I&#8217;m glad we live on a volcano with good drainage to the ocean. I can&#8217;t describe the rivers and lakes that we diverted to the neighbor&#8217;s yard (an empty lot).
